Our Miracle Man

It’s amazing to me how the Lord works. Dad was always tying his best to take care of all of us. You can ask any Pastor and or Deacon that has ever been at Plaza about going to the register to pay for a meal only to learn that Dad had already paid for it. Better yet, walk into a Deacon’s meeting to find a bag of Bo Jangle’s biscuits on the table. Sometimes you would come to the church only to find a crate of sweet potato’s in the back pew for everyone to grab some on the way out. Dad was always a giver and the Lord knew that.

When we were getting ready to leave the funeral home after making the arrangements, my sister-in-law came in and ask if anyone has lost any money. She found some money blowing in the wind outside and wanted to make sure it got back to its rightful owner. No one had lost any money. We just smiled. We said that we can see Dad up in heaven asking the Lord to send that down to us.

That is why we call him Lord. That is why we called our Dad our Miracle Man.
